We have added a new weekly yoga class with a new teacher!
Join Vanessa on Thursdays at 7.30pm for Yin Yang Yoga in the studio or online! The cost is £10 in studio, or £5 online, or you can book for either through Move GB.
Vanessa grew up dancing and has always loved expression through movement. She has been practising yoga for a few years and completed her 200 hour yoga teacher certification in 2019 in Goa, India. Her training focussed on the physical practice of yin and vinyasa as well as meditation techniques, breath work and visualisation. Vanessa uses these techniques to create a space for you to feel calm, grounded, and present.
Vanessa's passion is Yin Yang Yoga due to the balance of the two practices of Yin and Yang yoga, the stillness of the mind and body combined with the flowing journey of fluid movement through postures.
Yin yoga involves holding restorative postures for a longer period of time to work deep into the connective tissues, releasing tension in the body and the mind. Yang yoga is a dynamic practice, moving through postures connecting and the movement with the breath.
Vanessa's class is suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced yogis.
All of our non-aerial classes are available both in the studio and online, just make sure you select the correct option when booking!
Our current yoga schedule is as follows:
Tuesdays 1.30pm - Lunchtime Flow
Wednesdays 7pm - Slow Stretch
Thursdays 7.30pm - Yin Yang Yoga
Sundays 10am - Energising Flow
Sundays 8pm - Restorative
We are planning on adding a Vinyasa class on Tuesdays at 7.30pm from September, and a Barre class on Saturdays at 9.30am over the next few weeks so keep an eye out for the announcements for those!
